About the position

This is a part-time consulting assignment where you will be part of a smaller staffing pool together with other students, with good opportunities for extension. You are expected to work at least 6 hours per week, distributed over full or half days. In this role, you will be employed by Bravura and work at the Trade Union SRAT.

About SRAT

SRAT is the trade union for academics in socially essential professions and is present throughout the labor market. SRAT stands by its members' side and provides support and advice when needed. This can involve counseling and support before salary negotiations, layoffs, reorganizations, dismissals, or career changes. SRAT has many professional groups in its membership, which means diversity and flexibility that allows them to accommodate professional groups that are too small to form their own unions. SRAT has extensive experience in marketing and professional development within its professional associations.

Job responsibilities

In the role of member support, you will assist negotiators by handling simpler cases related to issues such as vacation or notice periods. These inquiries come in via phone or email through the switchboard from associations or through the case management system. You should have an interest and understanding of the Swedish model and labor law, possess personal maturity, and be accustomed to communicating with different types of people. In the introduction, you will receive training on the system, meet all functions within the office, and have your own mentor to support you in your initial work. The office is open Monday to Friday from 08:00 to 16:30, and your working hours will be scheduled flexibly during these times.

Education, experience, and personal qualities

• You are studying at a university in law or human resources and have at least one year left of your studies • Work experience in similar tasks • Good computer skills; you should have worked and navigated in some computer system before • You express yourself clearly and well in spoken and written Swedish • Previous membership in an association of any kind is an advantage. As a person, you enjoy helping and supporting colleagues in the areas needed and thrive in situations where you can think outside the box and reconsider previous working methods. You have the ability to express yourself clearly and accurately in what you convey and are comfortable in dialogues with different types of people. Furthermore, you are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions. You have the interest, willingness, and ability to help others and strive to deliver solutions. Finally, you take responsibility for your tasks and structure your approach independently while also being able to ask for help when needed.
